There is a saying that the older you get the more longboards pile up in the garage and the weirder one gets. I won't comment on the latter aspect, but the first statement is absolut correct. The latest addition to the collection is a so called "Shorty" board from 9T6T. It is exactly 40 cm shorter than the Souldancer board. However, the wheelbase is still quite long, allowing easy board walks like 180 step, Peter-Pan, even cross-steps are possible.

This board was developed for children - light-weight, so short that it fits into a rucksack, broad enough to allow for butt boarding, etc. Together with 70mm, 78A wheels this makes a perfect travel board for older skateboarders as well. Welcome Shorty! I can't await the next trip with you...
